1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you request a quote, book a job, or contact us, we collect information such as your name, phone number, email address, service address or ZIP code, photos of the items you want cleaned, and any details you include about your request.

Information we collect automatically.When you use our site, our analytics and advertising tools automatically collect technical data such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring URL, and general location (city/region inferred from your IP) — see “Cookies, analytics & advertising” below.

Information from service providers. Where relevant, we may receive limited information from partners such as Thumbtack or Google Business Profile about leads or reviews you submit through those platforms.

2. How we use your information

• To prepare and send you a price quote and schedule service.
• To contact you about your request by phone, text or email.
• To provide, manage and support the cleaning services you request.
• To measure and improve the performance of our website and advertising (see “Cookies, analytics & advertising”).
• To respond to reviews, customer service requests and general inquiries.
• To comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms & Conditions and prevent fraud.

3. SMS / text messaging

If you provide your phone number, you consent to receive text messages from Clean Bot related to your quote request and scheduled service (for example, confirmations, arrival updates and re-clean follow-ups). Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase. We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Cookies, analytics & advertising

We use cookies, pixels and similar technologies — deployed through Google Tag Manager — to understand how visitors use our site and to measure and improve our advertising. This includes:

• Google Analytics (GA4) — site usage and traffic analytics.
• Google Ads — conversion tracking and remarketing for our search and display campaigns.
• Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API — conversion tracking for our Facebook and Instagram campaigns. The Conversions API may send us de-duplicated, often hashed, information about form submissions (such as a hashed email or phone number) directly to Meta to improve ad measurement.
• Yandex Metrica — supplementary site usage analytics.

These tools may set cookies or use similar identifiers on your device and may combine the information collected with other data they hold about you. You can control cookies at any time through the Privacy choices link in the site footer. When optional tools are declined, Google, Meta and Yandex analytics scripts are not loaded by the site. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising for participating companies at optout.aboutads.info or networkadvertising.org/choices. Blocking cookies may affect how the site functions.

5. How we share information

We share information only as needed to run our business:

• With the cleaning technician assigned to your job, to complete your service.
• With service providers who help us operate the site, process leads, send text messages/email, and host our infrastructure.
• With analytics and advertising partners (Google, Meta, Yandex) as described in “Cookies, analytics & advertising,” for site measurement and ad performance.
• With professional advisors (e.g., accountant, insurer) as needed to run our business.
• If required to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer (e.g., merger or sale of assets).

We do not sell your personal information for money.

6. Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to: know what personal information we collect, use, disclose and (where applicable) share; request access to or a copy of that information; request correction of inaccurate information; request deletion of your information, subject to certain exceptions; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Because our advertising cookies and pixels may constitute “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CPRA, you also have the right to opt out. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below, or adjust your browser or ad-platform settings as described in “Cookies, analytics & advertising.” We will verify your request using the contact information you provided to us and respond within the timeframe required by law.

7. Data retention & security

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide service, support our business relationship with you, and meet legal, accounting or reporting requirements, then delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure.

8. Children's privacy

Our site and services are directed at adults and are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, with the “Last updated” date revised accordingly. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
